Can I buy games directly from this site?

Before games are released, they will be available for pre-order direct from JKLM Games, and you can place your order through this site (and at a pre-order price, which is below RRP). Once the game is released, it should be available from any of the games stores listed on our "Where to buy" page. JKLM Games does not sell released games direct to the public.

How does the JKLM Games pre-order system work?

For each game produced by JKLM Games, we offer two levels of pre-order:

• Early-bird pre-order.
• Standard pre-order.

Early-bird pre-order is available to anybody who pre-orders the game before production commences. This is typically 2-3 months before the release date. We will state the early-bird pre-order closing date on the website as soon as the production has been scheduled.

The early-bird pre-order price is 20% below RRP.

In addition, if you are one of the first 10% of people to early-bird pre-order a game, you will also receive a JKLM voucher worth £3, or if you are in the first 25%, you will receive a JKLM voucher worth £2, or if you are in the first 50%, you will receive a JKLM voucher worth £1. However, if the RRP of the pre-ordered game is less than £15.00, then the value of these vouchers will be halved.

JKLM Vouchers can be redeemed against any future pre-order from JKLM Games, or any future purchase from JKLM Direct. The voucher will be delivered with the game.

Standard pre-order is available to anyone who pre-orders the game before the release date. For each game, we will state the release date on the website.

The standard pre-order price is 10% below RRP.

Price discounts only apply to the item price, not the postage and packing. Postage and Packing will be charged at full price.

For pre-orders, how do we ship your order?

Orders are usually despatched within 5 working days of the release date of the product, but this may be delayed due to operational issues. We will state on the website if we are unable to ship preorders within 10 days of the release date of the product. Once the order is despatched, delivery times will depend on the shipping used.

Games are usually shipped using padded envelopes. If your game is damaged in shipping, then please contact us and we will replace the damaged parts.

Can I pay for pre-orders using my local currency?

We currently accept £ Sterling, Euros or US $. Just select the appropriate "Add to Cart" button for the currency you wish to pay in.

Do prices include VAT and P&P? How is payment made?

All prices include VAT. Delivery prices are as indicated.

All orders placed via the Website are to be paid via PayPal. Payment to PayPal can either be made from another PayPal account, or using a Credit or Debit card. All financial processing is handled by PayPal - JKLM Games is never provided with your account details.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

If you cancel your pre-order while the game is still in the design and layout stage, you will receive a full refund (subject to the transaction fees below).

If you cancel your pre-order once the game is in the production stage, you will receive a partial refund. The value of your refund will depend on various circumstances, including how far the game is through the production phase. The refund will be subject to the transaction fees below.

You can not cancel your order after the release date of the game.

To cancel your pre-order before it is shipped, please e-mail markus (at) JKLMGames.com.

If you cancel your order in time for your refund to be sent within 60 days of the order being placed, then the refund will be issued via PayPal, and you will receive the full amount due - there will be no transaction fees. If you cancel your order after this time, then all PayPal fees incured by receiving your order will be deducted from your refund. In addition, you will also be charged any fees incured in the process of processing your refund.

If you wish to return an item because it is damaged, or because it is not the correct item, then JKLM Games will arrange and pay the cost of shipping the item back to JKLM Games, and will provide a full refund or a replacement item for no additional charge.

What are the rules for posting comments

Hopefully none of the rules for user input will be surprising to you. They are basically just common courtesy. In detail:

• Keep it on-topic. The comment areas on this site are for information about the games. Do not use the site to advertise anything outside the site.
• Be polite. Do not use profanity or insulting language.
• Do not write excessive numbers of messages.
• If you wish to criticize a game, be specific. Comments like "the game contained too much luck and not enough skill for me" are fine - they help others decide whether the game is for them or not. Comments like "the game is crap" are not acceptable.

The comment areas are all moderated, so your posts won't show up until they have been approved by the site admins. We will try to accept all the posts that meet the above rules, but reserve the right to refuse any post, or to delete any post after it has been approved, as we see fit, and we reserve the right to add to, amend or delete the above rules as we see fit.
